Check out the link and let the pictures speek for themselves.

New Floral Images Made Available

I have just uploaded several photographic images of flowers and floral works. These photographs include photographs of color, sepia, and black and white roses, wild plum blooms, and peach blossoms.

These images were shot in the studio of flowers provided by a local flower shop called LuAnn’s Flowers.

1933 Ford Classic Antique Automobile

November 2nd, 2014

1933 Ford Classic Antique Automobile

Well, it’s fall and turning cooler here in East Texas. That can only mean that there are going to be a lot of classic and antique car shows.

I attended on this past Saturday and was impress with one of the cars. It was a 1933 Ford automobile done in a candy apple red that was just beautiful. The day was sunny with the temperature in the sixties. Great weather…

I took many photographs of the car and narrowed the number I have uploaded to only fourteen. These have been uploaded and are ready for viewing.

Images of Oil Wells

August 23rd, 2013

Images of Oil Wells

Growing up and living in the East Texas area I could not help but notice that oil derricks were all around. The East Texas oil field that centers in and around Kilgore, Texas is said to have furnished the oil that helped win World War II. The images in this series come from the city of Kilgore. They stand almost like a building. Majestic… Reminding us of Freedom, capitalism, and the roughed men and women that bought and paid the price of these things that many of us still hold dear.

New Spider Lily Flower Images

August 3rd, 2012

New Spider Lily Flower Images

I have finished uploading a series of images of a Spider Lily Flowers to the Fine Art America web site. The photographs contain dark greens with dramatic and interesting forms of white and off whites. Look for the one shown with this blog. Be sure to have a look at these photographs at full size. Some of them look very much alike until you look at them in a print size instead of the thumb size. See them at www.m-k-miller.artistwebsites.com.

These latest uploads have that special aspect to them. Spider Lily Flower is such a soft white color. I think that these images capture that feeling you get when you are looking at the original in a garden.

I took these photographs while thinking about the doctors, lawyers, and other professional people that need images for their waiting rooms and offices. These images should help people relax in places that are filled with worry and anxiety.

Anyway, I hope that you enjoy the images.

New Flute Images

New Flute Images

I just uploaded a series of flute musical instruments to the FineArt America web site. The image colors range form pink to black and white. These photographs will make great prints for flute musicians of all ages. I think they will be especially nice for the young student musician in high school or college. Picture these in their bedroom or college dorm room. Of course, professional musician like music directors or orchestra players would also appreciate these prints.

Be sure to have a look at these prints at full size. Some of them look very much alike until you see them in a print size instead of the thumb size. You will see what I mean.

New Oil Well Derrick Images

July 21st, 2012

New Oil Well Derrick Images

I have finished uploading a series of images of oil well derricks to the Fine Art America web site. The photographs are dramatic and some of them employ a lot of color. Be sure to have a look at these photographs at full size. Some of them look very much alike until you look at them in a print size instead of the thumb size. See them at www.m-k-miller.artistwebsites.com.

The original photographs were taken in the East Texas area mostly in and around Kilgore, Texas. Kilgore is the heart of the East Texas oil field that went a long way in furnishing fuel to our country in World War II. It is no longer true now. But at one time, the derricks in Kilgore were so close together that in many places the supporting foot of one would overlap the foot of the one next to it.

I took these images for people living in areas where oil, gas, and transportation are a big deal. I guess that is almost anywhere. I was thinking that these images would be well placed in homes, businesses, hotels, and motels. However, after seeing finished product, they seem to be able to fit into almost any decorating scheme depending on the way they are framed.

Anyway, I hope that you enjoy the images.
